When teachers are armed with the knowledge and materials to teach reading, based on the science of how our brains learn to read, barriers can be broken and success in literacy can be achieved. Slant System™ is an Orton-Gillingham evidence based, multimodal, structured literacy method based on scientific research. It combines professional development for teachers and decodable, Orton-Gillingham based teaching materials for students.
